Nevertheless, check the portraits of the 2010 Miss Virtual Yakutia online contest finalists elected on the basis of the results of online voting, sms voting race, and sub-competitions “the best video presentation” and “the best out-of-format picture.” Ten finalists were announced on Feb. 09, 2010. Famous Yakut singers and musicians, Legentej, Klavdia and Guerman Khatylaevs, Albina Degtyareva, Ayarkhaan and others, decided to support the Olympic Games movement. They performed Scorpions’ hit “We are the champions!” in the Yakut (Sakha) language. The video was shot in the ice tunnel “The Kingdom of Everlasting Permafrost” in Yakutsk, Yakutia/Siberia in January 2010.
