Ice sculptures in the suburb of Yakutsk. Photo by Matrena Kashkina
The Atlasovs are so creative and successful. They can construct any outdoor tourist complex wherever they wish. This time they decided to make a sort of ice sculptures town right there, where Yakutsk celebrates Ysyakh in summer. In the area of Ys Khatyn. They did it in the beginning of March. The place became popular at once.
March is the month coming after the extremely cold winter. Time for people to get out of buildings and enjoy warm weather, like -20C – 25C, and the period to drive out for BBQ. The truth is that any Atlasov’s entertaining outdoor project gets trendy.
