Yakutia Airlines in the top 15 largest Russian air companies

Yakutsk-based Yakutia Airlines got into the top 15 largest air companies in Russia, according to the civil aviation key performance indicators monitoring conducted by the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency on a result of the 2010 January — September activity.

Compared to the same period of the last year, Yakutia Airlines demonstrates a positive growth trend.

In terms of passenger and passenger traffic, Yakutia holds the 12th position among monitored 35 Russian carriers. If its passenger turnover for the first 9 months of 2009 amounted to 1 741 553.8 thousand passengers per km, this year it grew up to 2 337 068.1. If Yakutia Airlines transported 512 021 thousand passengers during the last year’s same period, this year it made 693 658 thousand.

In terms of cargo turnover, Yakutia took the 10th position. During January — September 2010, its mileage was 26 348.7 thousand km (an increase from 2009 levels by 16.6 %).
