Really proud to show the following images of stylized national costumes from the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Russia’s North-East Siberia and Far East.
Beautiful Yakutian ladies. Awesome national costumes. Fascinating photographs. This is what these photographs are about.
Costumes created by highly-respected designer, Avgustina Filippova. Photographs are set and taken by talented Victor Li-Fu.
Avgustina Filippova’s costumes mostly convey the elements of the Sakha people’s national clothes. The Sakha people is also known as the Yakuts, a Turkic people who inhabit the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic.
The last costume gets inspiration from the Evenk people, who are considered to be the true nomads of Russia’s Siberia.
