The Oldest Woman in Yakutia, Russia. She celebrated the 112th Birthday.

YAKUTSK, June 6 – The oldest woman in Russia’s Siberian Republic of Yakutia (Sakha) marked her 112th birthday on Thursday, local officials said.

Martha Sivtseva, who has 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, was born in 1901 during the rule of Nicholas II, the last tsar of Russia.

The Letter from Siberia is a great documentary about my region called Republic of Sakha-Yakutia. Created and released by Dr. Chris Marker in 1957. A long time ago, indeed. Though I noted no big difference in terms of the way of life and culture heritage.
